tireeeeddddd... hehe been such a super long week of intense tuitioning to rush for the kids' end of year exams.. travelling between school, lavender and home is really quite xiong.. $20 ez-Link fare gone in less than a week!
but well, even with such busy schedules some things remain the same.. wahahaha.. i'm referring to eating shiok food with my dearie. check out the pasta mania, ikea meatballs and lastly, and most shiok of all, dinner at Jerry's which amounted to $161 for me, tp, my bro and sis. check it out at tp's blog
beeen eating soo much... and NOTE TO TAN EN: I weighed myself using the scale I found in Ikea, I'm 72kg now! I really should do smth bout it haha.
Oh yes oh yes.. I almost forgot.. I had yet another Primary 6A class gathering last Friday!!! woohoot.. was only expecting 6-7 people turning up, ie those who missed it last year, but amazing Serene got tgt a group of almost 20.. whaha.. rushed down to meet them after tuition, but hrm.. due tothe large size of our group many places turned us down, and after 2.5hrs of walking we winded back at where we were last yr, Yuansheng's place. I wonder when they're gonna send the photos to me.. P6 class gatherings are always so amazing, seeing how everyone turned out, how different they are, yet a strange sense of familiarity despite not seeing each other for 10yrs (for the people who missed last yr) And spilling of even more primary sch secrets.. it was fun =)
Next, the first Dreamweaver class by me just ended yesterday, it went OK, but wasn't vety well planned and had a few glitches here and there. Hope I didnt disappoint the people who came to support.. shall fine tune the next one on the 31st more then. here's a publicity poster I did for the class.. hehe I think it's one of the better posters I've actually done.
Update on Lashe, she's grown quite a bit! took her out for a walk today after a dry spell of 6days due to weather and time, and realised she moved up a notch on her collar.. haha.. and we returned back to air con! now that her flu has almost cleared up except for a little cough. But tp made her a really cute doggie shirt anyway to keep her warm, and it seems to work pretty well. Doggie shirt meaning its a shirt for a doggie, and it actually had puppy photo prints all over it.. I was very amused tp chose that shirt to modify haha.. as usual, photos and pics are here -> tp's blog *grin* I'm lazy.. AND please ignore the gay pics of me.. bah tp just managed to catch me at awkward positions. =P
But sadly, Lashe's not completely healthy yet.. we've just discovered new "spawns" of her odd single ringworm fungal infection a few days back. Its really quite gross.. a thick brownish crust starts to form, and it flakes off when rubbed. Along with clumps of her fur. It's like those kind of movie virus that keeps multiplying and refuses to die. Now she has a total of 1 big bald patch, with 4 other smaller bald spots. *sad* hope they disappears soon. Scary thing is that the fungal spores and lay dormant in the house, and even if she's healed she might catch it again. The only way is to wait till she grows bigger and has a better immune system.
coming up soon is my thursday tuition at 9am, the last before I break for the exams.. and a upcoming test I only knew of yesterday on Friday.. good thing it doesnt look that xiong.. ok, that's all for now, I'm gonna sleep in and rest and stay at home tmr.. I need a break.

Woe
boohooo... at a time when I'm flooded with IT work ranging from my Aunt's BC Cake Art cake website to the loads of IT Team work coming in, and the new toys I got, Adobe Dreamweaver, Illustrator (finally a vector drawing program!), Photoshop CS2, my comp had to start failing and slowing on me!!
boohoo... this laptop Lenny used to be able to process and edit videos at blazing speeds, now now.. what happened?
anyway something amazing.. in view of my constant nagging of lack of disk space, tp decided to do a disk clean-up for me (haha! a tech savvy gf!) and discovered close to 5GB of Temp Internet files and other temporal crap. Instantly I went from 1GB fre space to 12GB! ok, after I manually cleared other junk when I came back hahaha..
It went well for a while till it started slowing.. like now... smth must be wrong.. shall go investigate after I finish this DW3 class poster. Oh ya, the new intiative of IT Team to teach SH classes started on Monday! It went quite well, very accomplishing to see 40 people turn up with their laptops and learning what you teach them =)
I figure that like me my laptop might be so used to the chaos way of living it has developed an allergic reaction to neatness.

SWOC Supposed Last Meeting + Bdae surprise!
After tp's little warm and fuzzy bdae surprise in the room with a miniature cake, the second part with her was a own cooked full-blown western dinner! I don't think I would do justice to that dinner here, as all the photos and wonderfully described food are all on tp's blog. Make sure you click that link and read that post haha.. it was an amazing dinner.
My second celebration came naturally from the FF, in our usual style: With food, food and more glorious food! Met at 12am after my weekly dose of House and Supernatural on AXN, emma and ben came down, then we went over to Geylang to eat the dimsum we haven't had for a looonnngggg time.. (sorry tanen) Our loyal FOFF pila came along too, too bad rosh couldn't make it.. (another time roshkneeknee!) We ordered our usual fare, but was pretty disappointed.. the porridge was bland and watery, the dimsum were just old-tasting.. sigh.. but the company was great!! hahaha had a really nice and enjoyable time just chatting.. and witnessing the effect of 1 traffic police car on the congested and messy traffic of Geylang at 2am, peppered with illegally parked cars. The night ended with a nice teh-peng at Serangoon Gardens, then I went back to PGP for the night =)
3rd celebration: SWOC! It was a one of a kind bdae celebration, with B&J Strawberry Cheesecake to double as the "cake", and a spoon as a "candle", and a orange highlighter as the "flame" haha, we SWOCs are really imaginative. =)

SWOC got me yet another pair of slippers, a white havaianas, and a new Billabong shirt.. which was Slimfit.. but guess what, I can fit! So I'm still slim.. hohoho. I think news of my killer "I-might-slip-anytime-slippers-and-die-in-a-drain" slippers spread really far.. now I got a pair of uniquely green Crocs from tp and white Havaianas from SWOC.. both really good stuff.. think it can last me for years.
Btw, for those of you who haven't been checking tp's blog to find updates on me, I'm updating! haha.. so far, the big thing these few weeks for me have been tp =), tuition, Lashe, mid terms, tp, Lashe.. and the list goes on in a similar pattern. Lashe has finally started her first leash training! and it went pretty well, maybe because she's still a young puppy, not dashing and dragging us all over the place. She follows by our side really well, just that sometimes she would rather just sit on the floor and nua.. *bah* will be trying that more often to ensure she gets it right. Oh yes, and last night after seeing tanen's tag we wanted to search for his blog to see his tribute for me.. haha first try was tanen.blogspot.com but it turned up empty.. so we moved on to google him online.. keywords like "aberdeen", "vj", "aj choir", "19th", "ff supper" all either turned up empty or I found my own blog instead. So a change in strategy was needed.. guess what? I decided to google his "league names" wahahahahaahaha and by the second name I found his blog.. it was freaking tan-en.blogspot.com bahhh I knew I remembered it correctly.. well almost.. the stupid hyphen.
Anyway thanks Tanen! finally saw your tribute to me.. haha that video.. it's been so long! wth.. btw for those who was wondering, yes that's was a stale and old durian we got conned into buying cheaply.. what to do, we're cheapskates.. bah.. here's the link to his blog: tanen
lastly, been a really good 22nd birthday, having spent it with my family, the love of my life tp, my super FF (ok tanen, you're counted cuz of the tribute), and SWOC, who've sweat and bled with me for the past year. I think for each year, I would feel quite sad if either of these people did not celebrate my bdae.. wahahaha of yes and of cuz, Lashe is getting better!!!
p.s. oh shit. I just remembered I have yet to get my mum's bdae present.

Lashe's First Pram Outing!
hehehe.. in order to smuggle Lashe out of PGP away from prying eyes, we decided to get a XL sized pet stroller to conceal her while we push her out.
the idea was tested on Sunday, when we decided to bring her out for breakfast at Science Park's canteen.. and it worked!! To and fro, people just glanced at the stroller and assumed that we were some young married student couple with a baby.. LOL.. But sadly, we couldn't find the canteen, and the guard said it was closed on Sundays.. a freaky old man, according to tp.. And I had to rush off for tuition at Sengkang so I left early..
Lashe did well on Saturday and Sunday, when we brought her back =) she was so hyper when she first got back, running and dashing around the whole place, cuddling so much with us, haha so sweet.. and she remembered her toilet training! much to our relief.. she's eating a lot too! almost 3 times as much as when she was sick..
However ever since she took this new antibiotics to be given orally her activity dropped.. but we were warned by the vet already, that this new antibiotics might cause drowsiness, and to drop the dosage if it occurs.. and when we collected her on Saturday evening, we were dropped a bomb... the vet fees amounted to $313 in total.. we're back to bankruptcy once again.. *sigh*
Hopefully she'll recover soon by the end of this week, when the meds end.
Anyway, just smth random to post here. Look at what I ate for supper last night.. totally frozen Tuna chunks in olive oil.. it was pretty much like tuna-flavoured ice cream wahaha..

Happy Birthday to me!!
lalalala.. its my 22nd Bdae! dearie tp had a surprise waiting for my in our tiny room when I got back.. hahaha it was a darkened rm with a tiny miniature cake with a candle on top lying on the table..
and it was a "miniature cake" ya, not a slice of cake.. lol..

btw, tp's gonna for for her VIVA (some lab Q&A session with the Prof) from 2pm to 3pm... so now, I'm just gonna nap till then.. damn tired after the 9am tuition at Lavendar.. then we gonna go visit Lashe!!!

Poor Lashe!
sigh.. such a small little darling.. vet says she must've caught a flu virus in the pet shop.. and incubated till now.. it was pretty messy.. she was having dark green nasal discharge, and a very congested lungs.. it then escalated into her vomitting cause of her bad appetite.. so we decided to admit her at the animal hospital where she'll receive professional care can be put on the drip.. in case she gets dehydrated from the vomitting..
going to have a fluid mech test soon, a 5 MCQ paper.. and given fluid mech's bad reputation of being horrendously hard, I hope it stays this way, wahaha.. so I can have a fairer playing field *llalala* may the Tikam help me.

The Saddening 70
Forgot to mention something today. Whilst at the clinic to visit Lashe, I plonked myself onto the weighing machine just for fun.

What a long way I've come since 55kg in J1.. wahahahaha.. anyway, breakfasts such as the one below will still be a fav lalalalala~ stacked with cold kaya and thick slices of creamy butter.. *drools*

bah.. for those of you who knows Lashe, she's admitted.. and I'm worried sick.. but just visited her just now, and she's fine now.. =) *cheers*
just got an email from ESN Asia, the events management company that I worked for at the Swim Meets, saying that they just took over a new project, the "Too Tuff to Puff" programme by the Health Promotion board.. hehe guess what they're doing.. Unicycles!! apparently its for people who're interested in learning how to unicycle, and during the programme's period till Mar '08 you can actually go to secondary schools to facilitate in the teaching of unicycling to them, 90mins per session for 2 days, per booking.. not sure how much we're paid, but ESN usually pays well. haha.. shall make it for the briefing to find out more.. I mean, they do loan a unicycle to us if we do join the programme.. haha.. sounds fun =)
Fluid Mech midterm tmr.. 4 MCQ questions, and I haven't really studied it yet.. CM1501 was ytd, and it was pretty bad lol.. but it seems like everyone died along with me too.. so it wasnt that bad after that haha..
And first IT Comm meeting tmr night! haha should be fast and sweet.. don't see a point in long, draggy meetings..
