hrmm ok time check: 5:13am..
just finished: shadowing of the painted banner, followed by the putting up of the printed "SHUAI" banner..
let me express on the blog what I felt but can't convey directly.
for several reasons, the putting up of the printed banner felt wrong. Firstly, to me, it felt like it carried with it traces of hostility and loads of tension.. everyone was tired, and perhaps I would say, stressed out by their daytime work and deadlines.. somehow that led to the effect that most of us became very opinionated and stubborn.. including me, who just felt like I wanted my way and when it didn't go that way I was too tired to make my point.
At least for me, recently I keep having this compulsion or urge to prove that my way IS the way, and the others are wrong.. *sigh* so today, I just sat out and relaxed one corner, pitting in my help once in a while..
The supper did lift the spirits a bit, but it went down just as quickly later too..
I think for me, I was just too "protective" of my castle, and wanted it to be displayed in its full glory. Good thing for yb, who managed to come up with the perfect solution of combining the castle and the banner in layout where they will complement each other, and not clash/overshadow.
Going to go back to rushing the brick design out for the walls that'll be used in the front entrance display..
Haha, oh yes.. I think the castle's like a Transformer, breaking into diff. pieces and combining in diff. configurations to fit the area.. BUT that means I'll have to paint the areas that previously didn't need to be painted.
woah.. check it out guys.. is this edward getting emo? lol.. perhaps.
tingping's coming back in less than 12hrs.. and I'll be heading to the airport in several hrs' time.. hopefully that'll be a gd break from SWOC =)
AND.. SWOC!! I thrive on the positive energy emanating from you guys.. keep the spirits up ya? And keep the emo's and tempers down where they belong =)
may the force be with SWOC.
